Additional Information:
Therapy is a collaborative process that provides a safe, supportive, and confidential space to explore life's challenges, better understand yourself, and develop healthier ways of coping. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, stress, trauma, grief, or simply seeking personal growth, therapy offers the opportunity to gain insight, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change. Together, you and your therapist will work toward your goals at a pace that feels comfortable and supportive, helping you develop the tools and confidence to live a more balanced and fulfilling life.
In-person therapy gives you the opportunity to meet face-to-face with your therapist in a comfortable, private office designed to provide a safe and welcoming space for healing and personal growth. During your session, you'll have dedicated time to talk openly about your thoughts, emotions, challenges, and goals without the distractions of everyday life.
In-person counseling is personalized to your unique needs. Together, you and your therapist will explore concerns, develop healthy coping strategies, strengthen relationships, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
Many people appreciate the opportunity to step away from their daily routines and spend time in a space devoted entirely to their well-being. Being physically present can help some individuals feel more focused, connected, and engaged in the therapeutic process. It also provides a quiet, confidential environment where you can speak freely.
Telehealth therapy (also called teletherapy or online counseling) allows you to meet with your therapist using a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. Instead of coming to the office, you'll connect with your therapist through your computer, tablet, or smartphone for a live, face-to-face session.
Telehealth sessions are conducted in real time, just like an in-person appointment. You'll talk with your therapist, discuss your concerns, learn new coping skills, and work toward your goals in the same way you would during an office visit.
In Louisiana, telehealth therapy is held to the same professional, ethical, and clinical standards as in-person counseling. Your therapist is specially trained and approved to provide teletherapy services and follows state laws designed to protect your privacy, confidentiality, and well-being. Before beginning telehealth services, your therapist will review informed consent, discuss how sessions work, explain what to do if technology fails, and create a plan for emergencies if they arise.
Facilitated by Laura Jones, PLPC, Expressive Arts Coach
Creative Wellness is a gentle, non-clinical approach to wellbeing that uses creativity, sensory grounding, and expressive exploration to help people reconnect with their inner world. It’s not counseling or therapy; instead, it offers a restorative, artful experience designed to support balance, clarity, and emotional ease. Clients don’t need artistic skill or experience; simply arrive as you are, and together we explore creative processes that help them slow down, breathe, and feel more present. It’s a sanctuary for people who want to feel supported, seen, and creatively renewed. This technique utilizes Expressive Arts (EXA). We don’t interpret art or judge the work, as some do in art therapy or clinical settings.
